Exploring Narrative Voices

A workshop with Alison Flett

This workshop will examine narrative voices in prose and poetry and give participants the opportunity to develop their skills in this sometimes difficult area. The workshop, hosted by Aberdeen Writers' Circle, is open to both members and non-members. There will be a prompt start and limited space, so come in good time.

Alison Flett

Alison Flett was born in Edinburgh in 1965 and now lives and works in Orkney. She has had poetry and short stories published in a number of anthologies and magazines and has performed her work on television and radio. She has won the Belmont prize for children's poetry and was shortlisted for the 2004 Scotsman/Orange short story award. Her collection of poetry, Whit Lassyz Ur Inty (Argyll Press, 2005) was shortlisted for the Saltire First Book of the Year Award. Alison appeared at wordfringe 2007 in 2 Alis & a G.
