Venture into Poetry

Guided by their teacher Pauline de Koning, Class 1L1 set off on a poetic journey in August 2007 as part of their English course at Banchory Academy. They single-handedly produced a wonderful anthology of their work, Venture Into Poetry (Koo Press) and organised a launch event that was attended by over 50 people. To date they have made over £200 profit from sales and the event for the charity of their choice: Cancer Research UK.
