Spirit of the Deveron

Huntly Writers launch their first anthology

Wednesday 21 May 2008
7pm – 9pm

Duff House, Banff [Venue 11]

Admission Free

Spirit of the Deveron

Huntly Writers launch their first anthology following their successful appearance in wordfringe at Duff House last year. It is a collection of poems and short stories in Doric and English. Full of humour, joy and sadness too it records the thoughts and feelings of the authors who live and work along the Deveron.

During the evening they will perform selected pieces from the anthology in their usual innovative and lively fashion. The audience can expect a chance to look at life from different angles.

There will be a book signing and an opportunity to talk with the writers.

Wine and soft drinks will be available at the bar.
